![]() Onedrive is terrible unless you only use it to sync Windows machines and still has a long way to go - it is absolutely the one major player on the market that actually doesn't do what it is supposed to do.įor starters when you have to frequently launch the mobile app to start a sync, then for whatever reason - blame iOS if you like, but Dropbox seems to have no issues there - it is a hard fail. Functionally, not even close compared to subscription versions of iC /GD on their native platforms and Dropbox (Business) on all platforms. NOTE 3: I am not sure how secure these eBay a/c are, so I wont put important / private data on them. NOTE 2: you can get creative, but several cheap eBay accounts and duplicate the data among them :) this way even if 1 a/c goes down, you don't loose data. buy one of the cheaper lifetime accounts form eBay and use this method on them. NOTE: if you are just backing up stuff that you can afford to lose. and you can't share the family subscription. I have used it in reverse, I crated a free 5GB ac for my kid and gave him a shred folder from my a/c for his backups. The child ids will have access to only their shared folder, not your primary storage or any other child ids folder. Voila, you will see that folder in your primary user and you can use it as your own space. next create 1 folder in each child user and share it with your primary user with Read/write privileges. ![]() Invite and connect them to you MS365 family account so each has 1tb storage.
